Biography

Philippe Viarouge has been a full professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Université Laval since 1979. His research activities in the LEEPCI Laboratory (Laboratoire d'Électrotechnique, d'Électronique de Puissance et de Commande Industrielle) focus on the modeling and design of electrical machines, medium-frequency electromagnetic devices, variable-speed drives and power electronics devices.
